At IT|Redux, we like to eat our own dog food, and as a result, the entire event, including marketing, logistics, and finances, is organized using Office 2.0 applications, exclusively. Here is the setup we're currently using, fetching best-in-class applications from Ismael's own setup. And when multiple options are available, we go for the one offered by one of our sponsors. It's our way of saying 'thank you' to them.

CollectiveX We are using CollectiveX to enable collaboration among contributors to the conference. All participants, speakers, and sponsors are invited to join the office20.collectivex.com group in order to hold discussions, share documents, and facilitate introductions. The CollectiveX calendar will also be linked to the service we will use for calendaring, as an example of service interoperability.

EchoSign We are using this great document management system for getting all contracts signed with our sponsors and various service providers. Documents are composed using Zoho Writer, exported to PDF, imported into EchoSign, then electronically signed by all parties involved, through an extremely efficient one-click workflow. EchoSign is also used to archive all our official documents.

SiteKreator We are using SiteKreator to develop the entire website and blog for the conference. Actually, SiteKreator's parent company NetClime does, for they do all the work for us, as explained in this article. SiteKreator allows us to focus on content, while the application takes care of preserving a consistent look-and-feel throughout the website. We tried many other tools, and nothing else came even close.

| SugarCRM We are using SugarCRM to manage the marketing of the event, record participant registrations, and track our various sponsorship activities. The on-demand deployment option provides us with an Office 2.0 compatible platform, while appliance and on-premise deployment options remain available to customers that are looking for a more traditional approach.

| ThinkFree We are using this complete office productivity suite to manage complex office documents used for brochures, budgets, contracts, and presentations. The conference's printed program is developed using ThinkFree Write, the budget for the entire event is managed using ThinkFree Calc, and some speakers are using ThinkFree Show for building their presentations.
|
 | Zoho We are
using multiple components of the Zoho Office 2.0 productivity suite.
Documents such as brochures and contracts are composed using Zoho Writer. Databases for participants, speakers, and sponsors are developed using Zoho Creator, then linked to the conference's website through JSON feeds. During the conference, we will also use Zoho Show for presentations and Zoho Polls for surveys. |

Lohika We are using the offshore development services provided by Lohika whenever we have custom development needs. Lohika's teams in Ukraine are quite unique, in the sense that they can work from Marketing Requirement Documents, instead of Technical Specifications, as explained in this article. If your Office 2.0 start-up needs staff augmentation, make sure you talk to them.

What's Missing?
Several things are still missing, and we are currently discussing with potential sponsors for them:
If your company does one of these, please consider becoming a sponsor for the event.
